Ville de Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville - 2008 National Winner

Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville offers its citizens more than 30 landscaped parks. That is, without counting the national conservation park of Mont Saint-Bruno, a huge 6 km squared forest at the heart of the city, and many lakes. A green oasis, Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville features a harmonious environment with pristine nature.

Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville has a history of dedication to city beautification, which granted the City many awards. In 2008, Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville was recognized national winner of the Communities in Bloom program in the 20,001 to 55,000 population category, receiving five blooms and the criteria award for Floral Displays.

Beautification also means protecting the environment. It is one of the top priorities of the municipality. Everything is set in order to preserve the natural heritage of Saint-Bruno. Among the many efforts, there is composting of leaves and branches and selective waste collection.
